T3 designed the new successful BELGO Brewery Pub in Saigon located in District 3. The main Concept of T3 Team was to create a signature Fence which is very important for several reasons: (1) It brings the DNA of BELGO (old factory, second-hand brick), (2) It reinforces the limit of the Plot by creating an indoor courtyard opened on the the Street, (3) It brings “human scale” to the whole Building, (4) It creates an interesting contrast between the original steel building and the rough brick wall… One more time, T3 also proposed to reconsider completely the Interior of the existing building, breaking some part of the concrete slab to connect Ground-Floor, mezzanine and 2nd floor. In the void, T3 collaborated again with our friends from Wedothatstuff to bring Art, Belgium twist as well as surrealism from Magritte. KOBI and Thomas brought their lighting skills to highlight properly the Facade, the Interior as well as all Art pieces. All furniture and lamps has been specially designed by T3/ELEK Team for Belgo.
Promote natural ventilation…
The upper windows are openable to be able to bring fresh air and promote natural ventilation when the AC is turned off.
T3 also put a courtyard on the building’s backside as to pass all pipes and ventilation risers from the kitchen, as well as to make the natural ventilation more efficient.
