A western Client asks for T3 to design his Penthouse in Ho Chi Minh City. Client being very opened-mind and having clear idea of what he wanted, T3 has designed the full layout of the Penthouse spread over 3 different levels (2 levels for apartment + 1 level for roof top). The final result is a contemporary industrial design, with artistic touch and very high class finishing for all areas: wall (wax concrete, stucco, cortene steel, cement board), floor (polished concrete, hardwood parquet), ceiling (hardwood)… On the large roof top, T3 added a wooden deck (to get a better view and for the nice feeling), and of course a lot of tropical plants to bring nature all around. Lighting has been partially tailor-made; and furniture have been either tailor-made, either sourced by T3 and Client to get a strong consistency of Interior. T3 also selected some art pieces and rugs. The result is a very unique Penthouse, in line with Client’s expectations.
COLLABORATION ARCHITECT and CRAFTSMEN
To make the living room more interesting than the original design proposed by the developper, T3 designed a foot bridge allowing to get a “library corner” at 1st Floor. To realize this footbridge, it has been a strong collaboration between T3 and Blacksmith company, especially Sebastien SICOT and Jamel, art ironworkers (compagnon du Devoir), as to prepare all the details to be able to build the metal structure and the reinforced glass floor. High skills together allow to be creative and to get a perfect result!
PENTHOUSE LAYOUT => RESEARCH FOR THE BEST “QUALITY OF USE”
Luxury is in details. That’s why T3 concentrate his effort to turn a very basic volume into a high standard Penthouse, by reviewing completly the location of all walls/partitions, designed a kitchen following international standard, use simple but high-end finishing materials.
