T3 has participated to an international competition to Design a 4* Hotel (430 keys) in Sihanouk-ville, along the beach. T3 proposed a modern tropical design for this hotel, with some reference to Cambodian culture as well as Mediterranean marina. All rooms are facing the Sea and Tropical gardens. In addition of the Hotel, the project comprises a Casino, retails, restaurants, spa and other hospitality services. T3 has used local materials to reduce construction cost and have a lower carbon foot print and has designed bio-climatic buildings with large balconies, double ventilated roof, arcade in ground floor… All public areas are naturally ventilated to save energy (no air conditioning). Mains objectives was to get the maximum of rooms facing the sea, a large podium also facing the sea and where guests can enjoy sun-set. Then, get the Lobby/Reception of the hotel located in the central part, as the heart of the properties.

6 blocks spread over a large podium facing the sea, high-end landscape features to enjoy the outdoor areas, double-load corridors naturally ventilated to save energy, most of the room facing the sea, public facilities (spa, lounge, restaurant…) easily accessible from the podium floor…efficient room layout with individual balconies facing the sea and ergonomic bathrooms are the main quality of the concept design proposed by T3.
